| Anyone see any movies that are still in theaters recently? I wanted to go and see "Angels and Demons" but i wasn't sure. My brother saw "Waiting" with Nicolas Cage and he said that it was really good. The only other movie that i might consider seeing is "The Soloist" with Robert Downey Jr. | |

| Ive never seen ann episode of star trek, but the movie does look great. Im also a huge star wars nerd, i saw it first when i was about 4, and ive loved it ever since. In 6-7th grade me and my friends would always have philosophical debates about the weapons and physics in star wars. Good times, lol. | |

| Well, lightsabers are possible in a theoretical sense. They're simply a superheated plasma loop, so that could be held by magnetic force. On being able to instantly cut through anything, i think it would take a lot longer to actually make incisions than they do in the movies. Also, the lightsaber itself would be a rather unwieldy device, mostly because of the massive energy requirements for both the magnetic containment fields and to superheat the plasma. So, by unwieldy I mean the size of a large building. | |

| Okay first of all don't see Angels and demons cause all of people say it was boring. My friend saw Star Trek and told me it was awesome. From what i read from fan review, the soloist was a pretty good movie. X-men and the terminator both have a lot of action. Lastly, UP looks like an okay movie but I don't think you care about that | |

| No, i wasnt kidding. I should change the "humor" section on my profile to "pedantics". Although, thats not a real word, so the conundrum continues- am I pedantic? Or am I not? Do you know? Does anyone? Is the pope Catholic?
Lol i crack myself up.
EDIT~~If you understood any of the above, please read Catch-22, it is probably the funniest thing you will ever read. | |

| Lol, i only read the original post so sorry if someone already said something similar to this but:
So far, the newer movies I've seen are : The Soloist X-Men Origins Star Trek
Out of the three the best was Star Trek (by far) and the worst was The Soloist.
Star Trek was a great movie, on so many levels. xD You have to see it for yourself to understand what I mean, and you don't have to be a star trek fan; (i don't know anything about star trek and i loved the movie) 4/4 stars.
X-men was the second best. Action, action, and storyline. =] It ties in great with the other 3 movies if you've seen them. And holy hell! How is Hugh Jackman so buff!? LOL Isn't he like 60!?!? xD 3 1/2 out of 4 stars.
The Soloist was interesting... great acting but a slow storyline and boring characters. 2/4 stars.
Hope this helped. =D | |

| Aw man, that's a let down...The Soloist kind of looked like one of those movies where you would finish watching it and be like "whoa that's some awsome writing", but if it sucked..then that's a shame. lol. | |

| Haha, Nah at the end you sit there and are like... "That's the ending? WTF!" It is very anti-climactic. Dx Good acting though. If it didn't have Jamie Fox it would of gotten a 1 star. | |

| Yea. =D X-men was a great movie, but since it had to flow into the first X-men movie, the ending was kind of... ehh well its basically the beginning of the original X-men. | |

| ok this is about the lightsabers on the first page ppl. They are not posable because the of the plasma beam that it uses. It u used that then the Plasma beam would not simply just stop at a surtan point.Because there is nothing to stop it so the beam would JUst travel on forever and never stop because there is nthing to stop it at all not even magnetic forces hold it back. It is basic Physic is all it is if u think about it. Peace Out Ppl, Sighed Gemini | |

| Ya on Star Wars they don't even have anything to stop it yet it does. But it shouldn't they just tryin to break the laws of physics for that moviw that wht i was talkin about bro. Peace Out Man, Sighed Gemini | |
