Impending Decisions

Ok, its day 2 for me on the site and we're already up to five members. I'm going to be trying to recruit tonight. I'd be nice if someone could get on with me, but thats not the point of this post.

The point is, if we work at it we could get this clan to grow exponentially in membership, and we need to have some plans for the future. I'm going to lay out some basic contingencies/regulations that we should have ready before them common member body really starts growing. We need to make some decisions on these soon.

1.) What game[s] do we really play? Will we be crossfire/ Combat Arms only? Will we expand to halo as well?
2.) Rank questions: we may have the ranks laid out, but we're far from done there. What ranks do people start at? How do they achieve promotion? How can we insure that ranking is fair and no member is overlooked? Most importantly: HOW CAN WE INSURE THAT WE HAVE A SOLID LEADERSHIP/ SENIORITY SYSTEM IN PLACE?
3.) How can we further encourage being active on the site?
4.) Little less important (in fact, this may go way to far of the serious tone of the rest of the post...lol) : Hey anyone got any Nexon Cash??

1. I'm all for expanding into Halo as long as the Halo recruits have x-fire and we are able to contact them and play in games. (I'm willing to re-install).

2. I think that new members should start out at recruit, then work their way up. Promotions, i think you said in another post you made, should be achieved through activism and contribution to the clan. There is a points system that i can set up to automatically promote users when they reach a certain number of posts.

4. I have NO nexon cash. You need to spend real money to get nexon cash, and i'm not into that lol.

Lol i just wanted to put that out there on the NX thing. I didnt expect anyone to have that.

Yeah, I'm ok with playing halo too. I think we should get a sizeable amount of people who actually have halo before we "officially" add it as a game.

With rankings, i think that all members should startt at recruit too, but only for like 3 days before they automatically are promoted.
I want to have some controls on promotion other than sheer amount of posts too. Thats a good start, but like i said in that other post you were talking about, its about quality, not quantity. If you add something to the clan, you should get a promotion. If all you do is post "lol" 50 times, that doesnt merit promotion to officer level.

I completely agree with you. When i said activism, i meant not only on the website, but also in clan games, matches and stuff like that.

Yeah. once we get a few more CA players we should be able to go into the clan sv and play a few scrims.
